They are members of agricultural, cosmetic, or artisanal cooperatives, often established for several years but weakened by the disaster.
Targeting 20 women’s cooperatives in a first phase, the CoopérAction Resilience project adopts a two-tier strategy:
3 pilot cooperatives will receive intensive support over 12 months, with individualized follow-up, intensive workshops, the implementation of a complete economic model, and customized management, production, and sales tools.
The other 17 cooperatives will receive strategic support tailored to their needs, including training sessions, access to project resources, targeted recommendations, and assistance with market positioning.
The goal : to leave no cooperative behind and to make each structure an active participant in local economic reconstruction.
Every woman supported is a driver of recovery for her family, her village, and beyond—for the entire rural territory that is rebuilding.

By supporting 20 women’s cooperatives in this first phase, with 3 receiving in-depth support over a year, we are sowing the seeds of systemic change in the region—a change in which women become the pillars of a resilient, equitable, and sustainable local economy.
